We took our Dominican friends to the park today. They are here for the holidays (Christmas and New Years) and were extremely happy to see some of the most famous animals of Canada. Thank you so much for being open during the winter!!! All of us had a great time :)

Great little park, lots of animals big and small. Very enjoyable. You can tent or RV here too. But we just came for the animals.

Great idea but definitely lots of work to be done here. I came with my family today for the first time. Finding our way around the park was a challenge as signage was very poor. Two separate groups of people at the park actually asked us where to go because they were lost. Although we enjoyed ourselves, the conditions of the animals were a deal breaker for me. All the animals had matted fur, the horses could barely move in their stalls, poop everywhere, the pig had no eye balls, the reindeer antlers had open sores, the feeding machines didn't work (and were listed at $2 for some dried corn), many animal enclosures were empty and finally, I'm pretty sure their turtle was dead in the water. Makes me want to go back to brush those poor babies and let them out to run around.

Really fun, enjoyed the hour walk looking at all the wildlife. Only concern is some of the animals, such as a rabbit at the petting zoo, looked like they had some pretty brutal tumors. Not sure they should be handled in that state.
